Spring Gala

at Pines Montessori School

Dinner, dancing, fun games, silent and live auctions, and much more! The Spring Gala is Pines’ largest fundraiser!  Proceeds from the Gala benefit the school in many avenues and allow us to continue our Montessori mission.  We couldn’t have such success without the support of our Pines families and surrounding communities.

Individual tickets will be sold soon for $50.00 each, this is for open seating.  We will also have packages available to help sponsor the event.

Gala FAQ’s:
What do you do at the Gala? Enjoy a delicious dinner, visit with friends, take pictures in the free photo booth with props, dance to the DJ, enjoy some adult drinks, and play games.  Bid on the items on the big board, silent auction, and live auction for a chance to take home some fabulous baskets and items.  All for the benefit of our children’s school, a 501c(3) non-profit organization.
What do you wear to the Gala?  The Gala will be held here at Pines.  As you will be milling about in the classrooms, Peace Garden, the Gazebo and on the path to the new building, date night attire and sensible shoes are recommended.
Can I advertise my business or help sponsor the event?  Sponsorship packages will be available soon!
Is there childcare? Kids In Action is a childcare option for the night of the Gala.  Call them directly to make arrangements at (281)358-9446.

Live and Silent Auctions:
Class Live Auction Items – The children in each classroom will be creating treasured and personal pieces that will be available to bid on this night – LIVE ONLY.  These special, hand-designed, projects will be on display outside the classrooms the week before the gala. You won’t want to miss a chance to place the winning bid for these memorable pieces.

Item Donation – If you frequent a local business, use a quality vendor, enjoyed a wonderful evening out or hotel stay, work for a company, or have a company, consider asking for, or making, a donation to the school’s annual Gala.  Companies are more apt to support a customer they know will share their service with friends.  Pines is a 501(c)3 non-profit and a donation is tax-deductible and an inexpensive way to advertise.  Our Gala is attended by an average of 200 parents and members of the Kingwood Community.  We plan for a silent auction, a Big Board auction (larger, more expensive packages), and games, all with prizes and items.  We look for donations of all kinds:  Gift cards that were given to your family that you won’t use or can part with, new or like new re-giftable items from your home, service packages, gift certificates, discount coupons, hotel night stays, rental property or vacation home weekend or week-long stays, jewelry, tickets to shows and sporting events, party hosts, art items, items you can purchase at a great discount, themed baskets, birthday party packages, date night packages, family event packages, unique experience opportunities, etc.  Most anything you can think of would be appreciated.
