Our extended care classes offer students a relaxed environment in which to engage in free play, arts and crafts, story time, and enriching group interactions.
Our goal is to establish a warm, nurturing atmosphere that offers both creative and stimulating activities for the children including indoor games, story reading, block building, and sing-alongs. There are opportunities for long stretches of outdoor play, and muscle movement. Morning children usually engage in quiet activities as they prepare for their day. Reading in a comfy chair, practical life work, and constructing with blocks are a few of the activities enjoyed. Sometimes stretching and Yoga type movement is offered.
