November 2024- We are awaiting the construction fencing, contractor trailer and port-a-potties.
October 08, 2024- The City of Houston issues our permit.
September 20, 2024- We "broke ground" with current and past Trustees, our architect (HarryGendelArchitects) and our bankers (First Finanical Bank).
Blank space will be filled with MORE updates as they come in.
If you happen to be walking down Cedar Knolls Drive we have added a message board with info as well!
Our Backyard
We will need to close off sections of our backyard to enable construction equipment to drive and reach the building site.
Tall construction fencing will be installed creating pathways for play and pathways for vehicles.
The Toddler (sand) playground, the Primary (in the middle) and the Tree Top Loft will remain open.
Please help keep yourself and our construction site safe.
Pines is entering our 48th school year and over all those years we have demoed and reno'ed our building to support the children within! Now it is time to build for our Lower and Upper Elementary students (grades 1-6). This building is to replace the portables that we have had for over 24 years! Nothing is more permanent then temporary buildings!
